VIRTUAL EXPERIENCE!

September 12th, 2020

YES!  We are still hosting this year's event in our community - for all those who love Steps of Success 5K and for our Future Leaders who's success is fueled by your support!

We recognize the responsibility to be intentional in our decision making, so we are following the recommendations of the city of Nashville Department of Health and the advice of the CDC regarding large events and have made the decision to transition our annual 5K fundraiser on September 12, 2020 from an in person to virtual format in order to protect the safety of our participants and the community.

There is no other experience like our race experience and we guarantee we'll make this virtual event as close to what YOU have come to expect from past events.  We look forward to you being a part of the Steps of Success Virtual 5K and continue creating a Pathway to Success for youth in our community!

Stay connected to our virtual community by joining the Virtual Steps of Success 5K Facebook group.  Share how you are training, why you're running for our students, and then post your finishing photos online using the hashtags #SOS5KGoesVirtual #StepsofSuccess5K

TAKE A STEP - WE NEED YOU!

“Never before has the need to develop young leaders in the African American community been more apparent to me and Transformation Life Center.  We intend to do even more to help the young people but we have to have the resources and community support to do it.  If you have helped us in the past or been one of our runners or walkers, if you have been a sponsor before, we really need your continued support.  For those who are just becoming aware of our organization, it is vital that we gain your support and prayers.  Please donate what you can to help us be more powerful in fueling our vision to cultivate future leaders to positively impact their communities and ultimately the world." - Demetrius B. Short (CEO)
